Congratulations! Please contact me at yarnonthehouse@gmail.com to collect your prizes.
Another year gone by in the blink of an eye! February 1st will mark my blog's 3 year birthday. Happy b-day YOTH! It's been a fun ride and I have so much planned for you this year... another fabulous Knitcation is being planned as I write this, a new look for the YOTH blog will soon make an appearance, behind the scene secrets are being schemed (can't wait to share!), and lots of great sponsors are organizing with me to bring you some the best giveaways we have had yet! 2013 is going to be a wonderful year for YOTH, I can just feel it!
As usual, I have some left over lovely unclaimed skeins of yarn that somehow fell through the cracks and didn't go to happy knitting homes. So, like I do every year during the blogiversary, I offer those back up for grabs to you!

Let's see, there's 4 beautiful skeins... why don't we have two winners who will each receive two skeins (chosen by me) from the bunch. Easy as that! You can also wish YOTH a Happy Birthday by telling your knitting friends about YarnOnTheHouse.com, following me on Twitter, or joining our Ravelry group. I've also recently become an Instagram addict! Or, there's Pinterest too! Let's not talk about how much time I spend pinning things related to knitting!
I would like you to do the following if you would like to be entered into this week's giveaway:
1. Read over the rules if you have not done so already.
2. Leave a comment on this blog post by the end of Sunday, 2/11/13. Is there something that you'd like to see on YOTH that I haven't done yet? What's your favorite part of visiting this blog? Or, what would you like to see more of?
I'll randomly pick the winners in 2 weeks and post the results along with the new giveaway, so be sure to check back. Good luck everyone.
Sincerely,
Ve

I am new to your blog but I do want to say I really enjoyed Stephen West and viewing his patterns. I like searching out new designers to see what they have to offer. I also enjoyed hearing about "knitcation". What a great idea!

Busy working mom, so I don't get out much, so your blog is a great way to hear about new/ obscure/ local (but not to me) yarns.

My favorite part of the blog are the interviews and of course all the wonderful contests. I have been a member of your Raverly group and following your blog since April 2010. Happy Birthday!!!

I love seeing both new yarns and old favorites on here. Especially if there is a new product I'm not familiar with! And of course I love when designers are featured, too.
January 28, 2013 at 9:45 PM
I would love to see more Crochet-based projects! I know Knitting is the first thing people think of when they see yarn, but crochet produces beautiful things too!
January 28, 2013 at 10:17 PM
I like the interviews, as I think it is always interesting to hear the thoughts of the designers, dyers, etc. I also really like learning about designers or artisans that I may not have been familiar with.
Happy birthday!

Happy, happy birthday! I love the giveaways and reading stories about designers and dyers.
January 29, 2013 at 5:02 AM
I love the giveaways of course - who doesn't love the chance to win delicious yarn?! I think you strike a really nice balance between the giveaways and other yarn related content with interviews and posts about your own work. I would like to see more of the same - keep up the good work!
January 29, 2013 at 5:04 AM
I like the new designs and dyers, great to see new ideas! Thanks for the great giveaways and Happy Birthday !
January 29, 2013 at 5:07 AM
I love the giveaways, and I also love reading about the FOs you knit. They're always so gorgeous! I honestly don't know what I would change if I were you; maybe just tips on working with the different types of yarn you give away? I don't know. You're doing a great job!!

Congrats and happy blogiversary! I definitely love being introduced to new designers and yarn brands. Keep up the great work! :)
January 29, 2013 at 5:57 AM
I like hearing about yarns I haven't heard about. Happy Birthday!
January 29, 2013 at 6:05 AM
My favorite part is seeing the designer's pattern collections reviewed. Even though I browse through patterns (alot!) it is really helpful to see their perspective from the point of view of a collection instead of individual garments. The second is the yarns. You show us yarn that I don't get to see and it opens up possibilities for me. The giveaways are fun to watch, maybe one day I'll win one, but even if I don't - I still have hope!
January 29, 2013 at 6:06 AM
I love "meeting" new designers through your blog. I've found and knit patterns that I never would have known existed because I saw them here. Thanks so much!!! Keep finding those newer or lesser known designers!
January 29, 2013 at 6:12 AM
I love the giveaways and the designer interviews. Happy Blogoversary!
January 29, 2013 at 6:26 AM
Happy blogiversary! My favorite part of the blog is your beautiful photos - both of your FOs and the yarn.
January 29, 2013 at 6:29 AM
I love how I learn about all the great yarn, and designers I wouldn't have otherwise known about.
January 29, 2013 at 6:31 AM
My favorite part are the video-interviews. They give 'voice' and 'life' to the different designers/dyers and make the alive in a different way than just seeing their pictures, names and websites. (Least favorite part: my paypal balance after visiting some of their websites.)
January 29, 2013 at 6:31 AM
I love reading about all the indie dyers and their processes. What about some spinning stuff or knitting accessories this year?

Happy Bloggiversary and I just want to say I love love love looking at your blog. You have amazing and beautiful finished objects, and I love reading/watching your interviews with such talented fiber artists! I would have to say one thing I have somewhat noticed a lack of would be things for spinners, I know the blog is YARN on the house, but some of your giveaways have included project bags and books, so I thought, why not a giveaway here and there for the spinners that love your blog also. But fabulous blog and wonderful giveaways. Thank you for your wonderful generousity!!!

I find it hard to believe that anyone passes on free yarn! I had the chance to meet Rose of Cakewalk when I was in my hometown this summer; she was super nice and I would have bought out her booth if I could afford it!
I love seeing all the indie dyers and designers that I never would have heard of before. I watch a lot of podcasts, and I think that they all pass around a lot of the same artists among themselves and therefore don't offer the same kind of exposure that you do.
January 29, 2013 at 6:02 PM
I hope I'm not one of those who did not claim their prize, LOL! I like all the different yarns that are show cased in the blog! Many are yarns that I did not know! I typed a huge long comment on my phone detailing everything I love about your blog, and then my phone decided to be mean and mess everything up when I tried to publish it!!! I love your blog though, your photography is amazing and the interviews are always so fun. I don't always enter every giveaway because sometimes I realize it might be something I wouldn't use, but I always always read/watch the interviews because they are awesome. Thank you for having such a wonderful blog!!

I really like learning about the artists & designers. Your interviews are great! I also love, love the different yarns & patterns. I am always inspired after visiting your blog (even though I don't win)! :o)

I do like the designer interviews. I've introduced you to every knitter I know! Can't think how you could improve upon what you do! You could have offered to pack one incredibly lucky follower in your suitcase when you took your Knitcation!
